The SoNeDev Privacy Policy details the data privacy practices governing SoNeDev’s provision of Services and Software, as defined within our Terms of Use, and applies wherever referenced.
For users residing in North America, the governing relationship is established with SoNeDev (SoNeDev, LLC. U.S.), subject to the laws of Texas and the United States.
Users are responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary legal authority to disclose any personal information belonging to other individuals that is stored within SoNeDev’s Services and Software.
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At SoNeDev, we are deeply committed to data privacy and transparency. We believe you should always have control over your data and be empowered to make informed choices regarding its use. Our goal is to support and protect your privacy decisions across all our products and services.
SoNeDev prioritizes your control over the data you store in the cloud in the following ways:
- Understanding Legitimate Interests and Your Rights: This policy clarifies when we process personal information based on our legitimate interests. You retain the right to request that we cease such processing. We encourage you to learn more about your rights and how to exercise them.
- Obtaining Your Consent: This policy also details instances where we will obtain your explicit consent before processing your personal information, including situations where consent is legally mandated.
- Purpose of Data Use: We use your personal information primarily to enable your registration with SoNeDev and to provide you with our Services, Software, and any other products or services you request. More detailed information is available.
- Social Media Engagement: Our services include interactive features that integrate with social media platforms like Facebook. Should you choose to use these features, these sites may transmit personal information about you to us. Further details are provided.
- Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We utilize cookies and other technologies to monitor the usage of our Services and Software. To understand your options for managing cookies, please refer to our Cookies Policy, which is also accessible via your browser settings when using our website.

This content may become publicly available should you choose to participate in these activities. We also share personal information with other entities within the SoNeDev family and with select advertising and sales partners, consistent with your expressed preferences. Furthermore, we disclose information to third parties engaged to process personal information on our behalf, or when legally required, or in other specific circumstances outlined within this policy.
We also offer additional details regarding your location-specific privacy rights and choices, which you can find in our Location-Specific Privacy Rights and Information Notice.
To help you understand our practices, this policy addresses the following key questions:

- What information does SoNeDev collect about me?

What does this privacy policy cover?
This Privacy Policy outlines how SoNeDev (referred to as "we," "us," or "our") utilizes your information across the following:
- Our websites and web-based services (collectively, "websites").
- Services that display or reference this policy.
- SoNeDev's marketing, sales, and advertising practices.
- The privacy practices of previously acquired companies, unless explicitly stated otherwise herein.
How This Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy applies in two primary scenarios:
- When SoNeDev provides products and services directly to an individual (e.g., through purchases on https://www.google.com/search?q=SoNeDev.com or units via resellers).
- When SoNeDev collects usage information from employee users of SoNeDev's Small and Medium Business (SMB) and Enterprise customers, unless otherwise directed by that customer.
In both of these situations, SoNeDev acts as the "data controller." This means we determine what personal data is collected and how it's handled, as detailed and permitted by this policy.
When SoNeDev Acts as a Data Processor
Conversely, SoNeDev functions as a "data processor" and not the data controller when customers, such as businesses or educational institutions, use SoNeDev products and services to support their own offerings to individuals. In these cases, SoNeDev operates under the direction of these customers regarding data collection and processing on their behalf.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the data our customers may collect from individuals or their subsequent uses of that data. For questions about a specific organization's data practices in these scenarios, please contact that organization directly.
In certain instances, different or additional privacy and data protection policies and notices may apply.
Some of our products and services may have specific privacy details that warrant additional consideration. For example, upon the acquisition of a company, their existing privacy policy and notices will remain in effect until SoNeDev's privacy practices are fully integrated. Furthermore, specific products or geographical locations may be subject to additional privacy policies and notices.
Please also refer to the SoNeDev Terms of Use, which may apply to the Services and Software you are utilizing.

You have the option to sign into some SoNeDev Services and Software using a social networking account, like X or Facebook. If you grant the necessary permissions, we'll receive contact and identifier information from your social account, such as your name, country, and basic demographic details.
SoNeDev also maintains official pages on various social networking sites (for instance, the SoNeDev team's Facebook page). When you interact with these pages, we collect information you've made publicly available on your social account, such as your name and interests related to our products and services. These social networking sites may also provide SoNeDev with statistics and insights that help us understand user engagement on our pages. Where applicable, SoNeDev and the respective social media platforms have established agreements defining our mutual responsibilities regarding this data.
SoNeDev acting on your behalf
In certain situations, SoNeDev processes personal information solely on your instructions. This occurs when our services handle data you provide, such as address book contacts shared for recipient information. In these cases, we act purely as a facilitator for the service you've requested, meaning you remain responsible for the information shared. We'll inform you of these instances through in-app notifications or other timely communications.
